I'm Irish and i had been doing Cat Boarding and Cat Grooming in Doha for the last four years now.
Living with animals can sympathize and empathize. They offer emotional support. That's why people recover faster from stressful, often traumatic experiences when pets are around.
You’re more relaxed and peaceful, your body produces lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol. Showing affection towards your pet also boosts dopamine, also known as the happy hormone.
I grow up in a family of volunteers feeding a colony of stray cats and dogs in Philippines and Qatar so it become a part of my life to interact with them in my daily basis. We owned 5 rescued dogs and 3 Cats in my homeland and its amazing feeling.
